Professional netballers Sienna Rushton, Alice Harvey, and Rebecca Airey, are set to feature in a fascinating TV Documentary. The talented and intrepid triumvirate, who regularly star in the highly successful and televised, Vitality Netball Super League, will seek to transfer their considerable skills to the sport of professional women's football.

The Art Of Goalkeeping

Tennis Legend Barty Demonstrates Her Versatility

The imperious Ash Barty, continues to demonstrate her sporting versatility. Earlier this year Barty, stunned the sporting world when deciding, at the age of 25, to bring her tennis career to a premature end. Having won the 2021 Wimbledon tournament and the Australian Open, Ash decided she was ready for a new sporting challenge. Barty, has already enjoyed success as a professional cricketer, when taking a break from tennis in the early part of her career. Follow Their Journey In Tv Documentary

Sienna, Alice and Bekah, partly inspired by Ash, are seeking to not only take on a completely new sport but also attempt to compete in a top level professional match. The girls will undertake intensive coaching from a professional goalkeeper. The pro coach, will seek to utilise the girls' inherent sporting attributes. Which include hand-eye coordination, athleticism and an innate sporting competitiveness. Whether that will be enough to scale the heights of elite top level football, is another question. However, It's a challenge the girls are keen to embrace in what will make for a fascinating TV Documentary

Netballer to Footballer

Sienna Rushton, pictured above in netball and football mode, has already made her mark within the professional netball world. She currently plays for Vitality Netball Super League team, Leeds Rhinos. Thus, making her an ideal candidate for the "Transferable Sporting Skills" challenge.

After winning Netball Europe at U17 level, Sienna, went on a tour of New Zealand with England’s U19 side at the age of just 15. Sienna has since gone on two more tours of Oceania with different age groups and won another Netball Europe tournament in 2019, making her first appearance at a senior competition in the process. She shared the goal shooter position with Berri Neil but started the final game of the tournament to great effect against the hosts Northern Ireland.

Radio & TV Presenter Emma Jones

Presenting the series, will be the hugely talented and experienced radio and tv presenter, Emma Jones.

Emma,, was keen to involve herself in the series, adding: "As soon as I heard about this concept, I knew I had to be involved. As someone who has watched women’s football and netball for a number of years, the idea of observing whether certain skills can transcend sports fascinates me. I hugely enjoy watching human beings learn, grow and discover that they’re capable of things they may not have thought possible. It takes a great deal of discipline and determination to play at an elite level in any sport, and I can’t wait to see what the girls have in store for us."
